RUNWAY: Astrid Andersen SS14

Astrid Andersen's signature hard edge was softened quite a bit for SS14 and the effect was a bit jarring but incredibly pleasant. Transparent layers over a soft iteration of camouflage were a delight as were the sporty athletic-inspired looks. The light-as-air color palette helped tremendously to lift up the sometimes dour palette and gave it an almost ethereal feel without losing the masculinity and edge Andersen is known for.
